It looks like the COVID-19 pandemic is fading away. Most people are currently in a better mood than the last two plus years. Many of us have begun to get out-of-town for sight-seeing and visit relatives and friends. I feel that the future is brighter for all of us. Thanksgiving is our best chance to give thanks for what we have to the special people and institutions in our lives. It is a good time to catch up with loved ones and share one of the most delicious meals of the year. It is also a good time to contribute to the people and institutions which have helped us over the years. Happy Holidays to all alumni and friends of the University of Hong Kong.
