2025 is certainly a more challenging year for everybody than before. I would like to encourage all of us to hold hands together to face the future. Let us all pray for the victims of the Tai Po devastating fire and help them as far as we can. Please continue to support our organization and The University of Hong Kong which is now the top university in Asia. May I wish you and your family Happy and Safe Holidays.

A Legacy of Healing: Professor Henrietta Lo’s Lifelong Support for Chinese Medicine
|
Professor Henrietta Lo, an esteemed HKU alumna, carries forward a family tradition of compassion and service. Her father, Mr Lo Yin Sung, was a revered Chinese medicine practitioner. Despite losing nearly everything after the war, the family continued to provide medical care and distribute medicine to those in need, earning Mr Lo the title of “Buddha” within his community. Inspired by this legacy, Professor Lo has made continuous donations to the School of Chinese Medicine, ensuring that future generations benefit from the values of healing and generosity.
